Get energised and tipsy at the same time! Espresso martinis are energy boosting cocktails that get you ready for a night out, or make cleaning the house a little more exciting (providing your cleaning in the evenings of course and not mid-morning).
I used my trusty Nespresso coffee machine for the perfect creamy shot of coffee. Add all the ingredients and shake shake shake, until your cocktail mixer is ice-cold and frosted over. Pour into a chilled martini glass, scoop out the extra froth at the bottom of the shaker, and spoon on top if you like a thick layer of it on your cocktail.
Finlandia vodka is rather superb and blends harmoniously with the other ingredients. To avoid an overdose of sickly sweetness, be careful not to be heavy-handed with the Kahlúa, it can quickly over-power the other flavours. Precision measuring is a must for the perfect Espresso Martini.

1. Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
2. Strain cocktail into a chilled martini glass. Open shaker and spoon out extra froth at the bottom. You should have a nice creamy layer on top.
